Order of Worship for Sunday, May 25th 2025

Leader: Come, all who are weary of striving—
People: We come to rest in God's grace.

Leader: Come, all who long for freedom from perfection—
People: We come to be renewed by Christ’s love.

Leader: Once we chased success, approval, and achievement—
People: But now we come, called by grace, to worship the One who sets us free.

All: Let us worship God in spirit and in truth.

Gracious God, we confess that we often chase worth through our own efforts. We measure ourselves by our performance, our zeal, our accomplishments. We forget that it is You who calls us—not because we are perfect, but because You are merciful.

Forgive us, Lord, for the ways we strive instead of trust. Forgive us for turning faith into a competition, and grace into a reward.

Teach us to rest in Your love and to live not for approval, but from Your acceptance.

Silent Confession

Leader: Hear the good news: While we were still striving, Christ came for us. We are justified not by our effort, but by the faithfulness of Jesus. You are loved, forgiven, and set free.

People: Thanks be to God!

Gracious God, You have called us not because of our striving, but because of Your abundant grace. As we offer these gifts, may they be a sign of our trust in You — not a transaction, but a response. Use what we give to share Your love, break down walls, and build up grace-filled community. In the name of Christ, who gave Himself for us. Amen.
