How Do United Methodists Serve God And Neighbor?

As United Methodists, we believe that faith is not just something we think or feel—it’s something we do. In this sermon, we explore how our tradition calls us to live out God’s grace through acts of mercy, compassion, and justice in our daily lives. Drawing from Matthew 25:31–40, we hear Jesus’ powerful words: “Just as you did it to one of the least of these… you did it to me.”We’ll look at John Wesley’s General Rules—do no harm, do good, and stay in love with God—and discover how service to others is at the heart of what it means to follow Jesus in the United Methodist way. Whether feeding the hungry, visiting the sick, or offering kindness to a stranger, we are invited to meet Christ in the faces of our neighbors.Come be inspired to live out your faith with hands and feet—locally and globally.

Monthly Food Distribution at Trinity House

on 8/25/2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Volunteers are needed to help unload food, divide bulk produce, and prepare it for distribution to the residents. This month, we will serve approximately 65 people, providing them with essential canned goods and fresh produce.Whether you can lift heavy objects or simply offer a friendly smile, your assistance is invaluable. This is a great opportunity to experience the joy of serving and make a tangible impact on the lives of those in need.
