Prayer of Confession
God of love, you come not to condemn the world, but to heal it.
Yet we confess that we are often quicker to judge than to love. We draw lines where you draw circles. We cling to what is comfortable rather than trusting where your Spirit is leading. We confess that we are shaped by the ways of this world — by fear, by power, by the need to be right.
We see, but not clearly. We know, but only in part. We resist the deep change you offer because it asks more of us than we expect. Hear now the silent confessions of our hearts…
(silence)
Forgive us, O God. Breathe your Spirit into us again. Make us new — not by our striving, but by your grace. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, the Light that shines in the darkness. Amen.
Words of Assurance
Leader: The Spirit moves where she wills, bringing new life where we least expect it.
People: We receive God’s grace, walk in the light, and trust that we are being made new. Thanks be to God. Amen.

Offertory Prayer
Generous God, all that we have and all that we are comes from your grace. You give freely, not because we have earned it, but because love is who you are. And you invite us — not to repay you, but to participate in the life you are bringing into the world.
Use what is given this day to bring light where there is darkness, hope where there is weariness, and life where it feels hard to imagine. As you continue changing us by your Spirit, use these gifts, and use our lives, to serve your world in love.
We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, who came not to condemn the world, but to give it life. Amen.
