Order of Worship for Sunday, April 26th 2026

Leader: Christ meets us on the road, even when we are headed the wrong way.
People: Christ calls us by name and turns us toward new life.

Leader: God sends us to places we would rather avoid.
People: God goes with us and works through us.

Leader: We do not choose who God calls.
People: We trust that God’s grace is for all.

Leader: Come, let us worship the God who transforms lives.
People: We come to worship with open hearts and willing spirits.

Gracious God, We confess that we have tried to limit your grace. We have decided who is worthy of forgiveness and who is not. We have avoided people you are calling us toward. We have resisted your voice when it led us beyond our comfort.

We confess that we have not trusted you to work in the lives of others. We have held on to fear instead of faith. We have chosen judgment instead of love.

Forgive us, O God. Open our eyes to your work in unexpected places. Give us courage to follow where you lead and hear the silent confessions of our hearts...

Leader: The same grace that met Saul on the road meets us where we are. In Jesus Christ, we are forgiven, restored, and called into new life.
People: Thanks be to God! Amen.

God of abundant grace, you call us and send us into your world. Receive these gifts as signs of our trust and willingness to be part of your work. Use them to bring hope, healing, and transformation. In Christ’s name, Amen.
