Order of Worship for Sunday, March 1st 2026

Leader: When we see only lack,
People: God sees abundance waiting to be revealed.

Leader: When we fear there is not enough,
People: Christ takes what we offer and multiplies grace.

Gracious and generous God, you open your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing, yet we live as though there is never enough. We confess that we cling to what we have. We calculate instead of trusting. We hoard instead of sharing. We see only the size of the crowd and forget the abundance of your grace.

Forgive us for the ways we live from fear rather than from faith. Forgive us for doubting that you can multiply what we place in your hands. Hear now the silent confessions of our hearts…

(Silence)

Take what we offer — even our brokenness — bless it, break it, and remake us as signs of your generous kingdom. Amen.

Leader: Hear the good news: the One who took five loaves and two fish still meets us with mercy. In Jesus Christ, our fear is forgiven, our hearts are renewed, and God’s grace is more than enough.
People: We receive God’s forgiveness with gratitude and trust. Thanks be to God. Amen.

Generous God, you have taken what is small and made it enough. Bless what is given. Multiply what is shared. Use these gifts — and our very lives — to feed the hungry, strengthen the weary, and reveal your generous kingdom in this place and beyond. In Christ’s name, Amen.
