Order of Worship for Sunday, February 16th 2025

Leader: With the pressing crowds, searching for healing and hope,
We wish to see Jesus.

Leader: With the pushed out and cast aside, with the lonely lost, stripped of pride,
We wish to see Jesus.

Leader: With those who seek mystery and meaning, wisdom and grace,
We wish to see Jesus.

Almighty and all–loving God, through your Son Jesus Christ you have reconciled the world to yourself. Help us now to be reconciled with one another, that again we might dwell in the warmth of your love. Inspire us with your Holy Spirit to put aside the cloak of pride and put on Christ, that we might forgive and be forgiven; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Leader: Hear what comfortable words the Scriptures say to all that truly turn to the Lord: "The saying is sure and worthy of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners."

People: Glory be to God!

Gracious God, who blesses us in our brokenness and rejoices with us in our joy, we bring these gifts as an offering of hope and love. May they be used to heal the hurting, feed the hungry, and welcome the weary. Help us to be a community that reflects your kingdom, where all find acceptance and grace. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
