Order of Worship for Sunday, October 5th 2025

Leader: Come, people of God, hungry for hope, searching for peace.
People: We come with our complaints and our questions, yet God still welcomes us.

Leader: In the wilderness, God fed the people with bread from heaven.
People: In our wilderness, God meets us with daily grace.

Leader: Trust in the Lord, whose mercies are new every morning.
People: We will lift our voices in gratitude and praise, for God provides

God of mercy, we confess that we often forget your daily faithfulness. We grumble in our wilderness, fearing scarcity more than trusting your abundance. We cling to self-reliance instead of depending on your grace.

Forgive us for doubting your goodness. Hear the silent confessions of our hearts…

Leader: Hear the good news: just as God fed the Israelites with manna each morning, God meets us today with mercy that never runs out. In Christ, we are forgiven and made new.

People: Thanks be to God!

Generous God, You fed your people in the wilderness with bread from heaven, reminding them to trust you each day.

As we bring our gifts, teach us to live not in fear of scarcity, but in the joy of your abundance. Use these offerings to provide for others as faithfully as you have provided for us. In Christ’s name we pray, Amen.
