Order of Worship for Sunday, November 23rd 2025

Leader: The Lord says, “I know the plans I have for you.”
People: Plans for peace and not for harm, to give you a future with hope.

Leader: Even in exile, even in uncertainty, God is near.
People: We gather to trust in the God who restores and renews.

Leader: Come, people of hope, let us worship the Lord who is faithful.
People: We place our trust in God’s promise.

Faithful God, we confess that we do not wait well. We rush ahead of your timing, cling to our own plans, and grow restless when your answers seem delayed. Teach us to find peace in your presence and hope in your promise. Hear now the silent prayers of our hearts as we seek your forgiveness…

(Silent prayer)

Renew our patience and strengthen our faith, O God. Help us to trust that your plans are good and your promises are sure. Amen.

Leader: In Jesus Christ, you are forgiven; receive his peace and hope for the days ahead.
People: Thanks be to God!

God of promise, as we wait for the future you prepare, we offer these gifts and our daily faithfulness. Plant them like seeds; grow in us patient hope and fruitful service, for the blessing of our neighbors and the glory of your name. Amen.
