Prayer of Confession
Creator God, You hovered over the waters of chaos and spoke creation into order and beauty. Yet when chaos swirls in our world, we shrink away in fear, thinking we are powerless, instead of turning to You, the One who made all things in their wonder and diversity.
We confess that we try to master chaos by overwork, overcontrol, and overcrowding our lives. We ignore the boundaries that bless and the Sabbath that heals. We forget that You make room for life to flourish and call us to rest in Your goodness.
Forgive us, Lord. Draw us back to Your rhythm of grace. Hear the silent confessions of our hearts as we trust again in Your power to create and renew.
(silence)
Amen.
Words of Assurance
Leader: Hear the good news: The God who spoke light into the darkness still speaks today. God shapes beauty and life out of chaos. In Jesus Christ, we are forgiven, renewed, and invited to live in God’s rhythm of grace.
People: Thanks be to God! Amen.

Offertory Prayer
Creator God, You bring order out of chaos and breathe life into the world. You set boundaries that bless and give Sabbath that restores. We offer these gifts as signs of our trust in Your provision. Use them to make room for life, to bring light into darkness, and to share Your rhythm of grace with all creation. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
