Prayer of Confession
Gracious God, You offer us treasures that do not fade, yet too often we settle for trinkets. We cling to possessions, achievements, and comforts that cannot last, and we forget to carry the gifts of love, mercy, and grace into our daily lives.
Forgive us when our hearts are set on what is temporary rather than what is eternal. And forgive us when we doubt our worthiness to carry Your love. You have placed the treasure of the gospel in fragile jars of clay, reminding us that the gift is Yours, not ours, and that Your grace is enough.
In these moments of silence, hear the confessions of our hearts as we seek Your mercy.
Silent Confession
Amen.
Words of Assurance
Leader: Hear the good news: though we are fragile jars of clay, God’s mercy shines through us. In Jesus Christ, you are forgiven and set free.
People: We rejoice and give thanks, carrying His grace into the world!

God of abundance, You place the treasure of the gospel in fragile jars of clay. Receive these offerings as a sign that we carry Your grace into the world. Use them to shine Your light through us, so that others may see and know the love of Christ. Amen.
