Order of Worship for Sunday, January 5th 2025

Leader: Today, we pause from our busy lives,
People: To be here with you, God.

Leader: We set aside our worries,
People: And open our hearts to you.

Leader: As we stand between the year that was and the year to come,
People: Fill us with your grace and peace.

Leader: In this moment of transition,
People: We seek your plans and will for us.

All: We pause to worship you, loving God, trusting in your good plans for our future. Amen.

If we seek you, O God, we are not lost. If we seek you, O God, we are whole. If we seek you, O God, we have purpose. Forgive us for when we have abandoned your will and rebelled against your love and purpose for our lives. Help us to always seek you first and to follow your guidance for our lives. Thank you for caring for us and desiring for us to prosper by following your purpose for our lives. Amen.  

Leader: The lord has heard our prayers and forives your sin. Embrace the new beginning that this offers and seek God's purposes for you.
People: Glory to the God of Grace!

Guiding God, as we trust in your plan for our lives and our congregation, receive and bless these gifts that we might use them to fulfil your purposes. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
