Order of Worship for Sunday, August 3rd 2025

Leader: At the gate of the Lord, all are welcome.
People: We come with excitement, fear, and faith.

Leader: The journey of grace begins here, not because we are worthy,
People: But because Christ has already made the way.

God of welcome and wonder, You call us to come just as we are, yet we often try to earn your invitation. We assume we must be better, cleaner, more together to be accepted. We forget that your grace is free, and your gate is open.

Forgive our striving and our shame. In these moments of silence, hear the confessions of our hearts as we seek your mercy.

Leader: God does not wait for us to be perfect—only present. By Christ’s love, your shame is lifted, your striving is stilled, and your sins are forgiven.
People: Thanks be to God! We walk through the gate with joy.

Gracious God, You hold nothing back from us—not your love, not your welcome, not your Son. In gratitude, we offer these gifts. May they be used to open doors, break down barriers, and invite all people into your Kingdom. Amen.
