Order of Worship for Sunday, September 28th 2025

Leader: Out of the flames of a bush, God called Moses.
People: Out of the ordinary, God speaks with holy purpose.

Leader: Though Moses resisted, God equipped him.
People: Though we resist, God equips us still.

Leader: Come, let us stand on holy ground.
People: We come to worship the God who calls, sustains, and sends.

God of fire and flame, You call to us from unexpected places. Yet too often we resist Your voice. We make excuses, fearing that we are not strong enough, not wise enough, not eloquent enough. 

We cling to our comfort and ignore the cries of those in need. Forgive us, Lord. Equip us with courage, and remind us of Your promise: that You will be with us, wherever You send us.

Hear the silent confessions of our hearts…

Leader: God’s love not only forgives but equips. In Christ, you are forgiven, renewed, and sent.
People: Thanks be to God! Amen.

Holy God, You send us where You would have us go, and You equip us with what we need for the journey. Accept these offerings as signs of our willingness to follow. May they bring hope, healing, and justice in Your name. Amen.
