Missions: A place for everyone..... we are in missions all the time.

We are excited about missions at Berwyn Methodist Church! An overview is presented below, and more specific programs are located to the right. There are many levels on which you can be involved, from planning a trip to an area in need, participating in any of the missions and outreach at BUMC, or lending a hand around the community. There are also other active seasonal mission projects that you can be a part of.

Guardian Angels
Would you like to be a Guardian Angel for a college student or your can provide us with the name and address of a college student. Please pick-up a Guardian Angel form after service.
Penny Jar
Part of the Penny Jar collection will help support Eunice Chola, a young girl in Lusaka, Zambia through Children International. She is six and lives with her parents. Our support will enable her to go to school which her parents can not afford, and provide her with health care. The balance of the collections will go to Cookson Hills Mission to provide support for their Christmas Shop which allows persons to buy new gifts at a price they can afford. In the past, donations have also gone to The Methodist Church's Hope for the Children Fund which aided children in Africa and the United States, The Chester County Bridge of Hope (a woman and child shelter in West Chester and Lancaster County), and other projects which have an emphasis on children.
United Methodist Connectional Giving
We support the United Methodist Church's funds for sharing God's gifts. Connectional giving is built upon our desire to meet the needs of God's family in our neighborhoods and around the world and our need to give in order to be spiritually healthy, complete children of God. Through our congregations, we are the heart, spirit and hands of God's outreaching love.

Visit the United Methodist Giving site, or read about the mission moments for the types of projects they support.
