You are asked to meet the children in the back of the sanctuary following the children's message in the 10:30 a.m. service to walk as a group downstairs to the Story Time rooms. It is very important to check the hallway for "stragglers" prior to closing the door at each Story Time session.
Also, please "check-in" with the ushers as you walk into the service. This will ensure that Story Time is properly staffed every Sunday. We have experienced some attendance difficulties in the past. When the program is not staffed, the potential for obvious safety issues for the children arises.
As a leader, you are responsible for providing the children with a story/learning experience and a related activity and/or craft. Supplies (as well as some books and previously organized lesson plans) are located in the Story Time closet in the pre-school classroom. Kindly plan to provide a small snack and juice for the children in your group.

- Put all toys back on tables or shelves
- Sweep floors - crumbs bring little critters. (You will find a broom and dustpan near the door)
- Wipe tables clean - empty juice filled cups in the sink
- Trash should be placed in a plastic bag and thrown in the dumpster in the parking lot. (Extra trashcan liners are in the Story Time cupboard)
