BUMC has been blessed to receive a new Cunningham 5'10" grand piano. This beautiful instrument was given by Jan and Paul Polasky in honor of their parents and their love of music. On Sunday, February 3rd the piano was formally dedicated to the glory of God by Pastor Jacabella. The first of three special piano dedication events will be on Sunday, April 21st at the 10:30 service. This will be a special Service of Music presenting the piano in all of the ways that it can be used in worship: as a solo instrument; as an accompanying instrument; in piano and organ duets; leading congregational hymns. This service will be completely in house, meaning that members of the congregation will be utilized for the various presentations. Participating will be the Children's Choir, Andres and Javier Montaner, Steve and Carol Cherry, and others to be announced. JoEllyn Berky Beck will be singing various solos with the Chancel Choir.

Save the date of April 20th for a Hike at Valley Forge National Park. The hike will start at 9am. We will meet in the Pawlings Parking Area on Pawlings Road in the Northwest corner of the park. There will be a choice of a longer hike of 5 1/2 to 6 miles and a shorter hike. Plan for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. If you like nature and like to hike, please come and bring family, neighbors and friends.
