Children's Classes

Nursery Care - Babies and Toddlers through age 3
Pre-K and Kindergarten Class - ages 3 to K in room 2B
1st & 2nd Grade Class - Room 1B
3rd & 4th Grade Class - Room 6B

Berwyn United Methodist strives to have 2 teachers in each class, especially the Preschool/ Kindergarten and the 1st and 2nd grades. Teachers in the 3rd and 4th grade usually alternate teaching Sundays. The Sunday School time provides the young child with time to play, a Bible story, story paper, and a simple craft.

Youth Classes

5th, 6th and 7th Grade Class
8th - 12th Grade Class

All youth classes meet in the Youth Suite, down the hall and up the stairs from the children's Sunday School classrooms.

Confirmation is a special class for for adolescent youth. Confirmation takes place to strengthen and support a young person's path into life. It is a step of commitment concluding with reception into full membership. Find out more about confirmation classes at BUMC.

Adult Classes

ETC - Every Topic Considered
Every Topic is Considered in this class of lively discussions on a variety of topics. Meets on Sundays at 9:15 a.m. in the Library.

This year, ETC will be using a Program called Saving Jesus! .

The Every Topic Considered Class would like to welcome you on Sunday mornings. Please let Amy Dwyer or Claudia Genaurdi know if you are willing to lead or know an interesting contact for future classes.

Out of the Box
This class is a discussion oriented, scripture based study group. Meets on Sundays at 9:15 a.m. in the classroom next to the Office.

Disciple Bible Study
The DISCIPLE Bible Study program is designed to develop a ministering community
nourished by disciplined reading of the scriptures. Disciple Bible Study will
meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month at 7:15 PM in the Library.
