Wednesday Morning Bible Study
The Wednesday morning Bible Study is a bring-your-lunch meeting
from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. The subject is the Book of Job which wrestles with the
question: "Why do the righteous suffer?"
The method of in-depth Bible Study is used which involves looking at words, phrases, sentences and paragraphs and plumbing the depth of what they are saying to us. This will be an exciting time as we study the word of God; as we grow and mature in our faith; as we expand our knowledge of the Bible and as we apply the word of God to life and daily living. Please come and join us. We will love to have you with us. Please bring a bag lunch so that we may have table fellowship afterwards. Click here to download the Wednesday Bible Study reading schedule. The Alpha Course
The Alpha Course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions, with an optional day retreat. It is low-key, friendly and fun — and is supported by all of the main Christian denominations. Childcare is available upon request. Are you looking for a friendly Bible Study? The SBS (Shared Bible Study) Class reads the Bible to seek God's Word, deepen faith, and rebuild spiritual confidence. Questions and discussions are many.
The Shared Bible Study Class (SBS) An Invitation to Psalms, a Disciple Study by Michael Jinkins. In the Psalms, God's people struggle to make sense of who God is and who they are. The Psalms are prayers, poetry, and expressions of faith. Join us as we view this beautiful literature through different interpretations.
Study Books are available in our classroom (next door to the Pastor's Study).
Come and learn more.
SBS meets at 9:15 on Sunday mornings, in the Shared Office, just down the steps from the sanctuary. |
